GR-Series Railway hydraulic magnetic circuit breaker for 35 mm rail


Under strained or heavy use, a motor or another load-generating component within the equipment will draw additional current from the power source; when this happens, the equipment wires or components will overheat and may ultimately burn up.
In addition to protecting the equipment, the entire electrical system including the control switches, wires, and power source must be protected from faults. A circuit protection device should be employed at any point where a conductor size changes. Many electronic circuits and components like transformers have a lower overload withstand threshold level than conductors such as wires and cables. These components require circuit protection devices featuring very fast overload sensing and opening capabilities.


Designed for those applications requiring higher amperage and voltagehandling capability in a compact design. The GR-series DIN rail circuit breaker has an unique arc shute design which results in high interrupting capacities. For increased mechanical strength and to achieve highest level ans rating on fire and smoke tests, a thermoset glass filled polyester halfshell construction is applied.
